STNA (STATE TESTED NURSE AIDE) TRAINING
Completion of an Ohio Department of Health (ODH)-approved NATCEP (Nurse Aide Training Competency Evaluation Program) will provide the training needed to become a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA). A NATCEP must be no less than 75 hours in length. Training will consist of at least 59 hours of classroom experience and skills training and at least 16 hours of supervised resident care in a long-term care facility (nursing home only). Upon successful completion of a NATCEP, students will receive an official ODH Certificate of Completion and will be eligible to register for the OH State Nurse Aide test. Individuals who pass the OH State Nurse Aide test will have their names added to the Ohio Nurse Aide Registry. Can be employed in different Healthcare Settings. STNAs are in high demand, always have been.

Q. What are the requirements to enroll in STNA course?
A. 1. Over 17 years of age. 2. Unexpired Picture State ID. 3. Original Social Security card. 4. Access to a computer and WI-FI 5. High School Diploma/GED preferred but not required. 6. Ability to lift 50 lbs. 7. $350 tuition minimum deposit
Q. How can I enroll?
A. You can register online under the Registration & Payment page. You are not confirmed as a student until all requirements are met.
Q. How often do you offer the classes and how long?
A. New Classes offered every two weeks, 8 hrs per day for 8 days for lecture and 8hrs for 2 days for clinicals for a total of 10 days. We also offer an 8-week version of the course to accommodate more flexible learning. ONLINE classes available.
Q. Where can I get a job when I complete the Course?
A. Can be employed in a Long term care Facility, Hospital, Hospice, Assistance Living, Home care, Adult Day Care Centers to mention a few.
Q. Where can I take the State test?
A. You can take it at Balizza HCS. Balizza HCS is an approved testing site for the Ohio STNA State Test.
